"Paranoid," "angry," "deceitful" and "vindictive." That's how one woman is describing one of country music's most beloved superstars. Garth Brooks is the subject of a scathing lawsuit filed by his former business partner Lisa Sanderson.
In court documents obtained by TMZ.com, Sanderson accuses Brooks of killing every great deal she brought to him to expand his acting interests during the 20 years she worked with him. She says his ego was out of control.
Among other examples, Sanderson says Garth turned down an offer to appear as a sniper in "Saving Private Ryan" because he was not the star of the movie and was unwilling to share the spotlight with Tom Hanks, Matt Damon and Edward Burns.
She claims she lost out on salary, bonuses and profits over the years because of his false promises. Sanderson is seeking $425,000 in damages.
