Twin Cities restaurants offering free meals for veterans on Veterans Day

The Pioneer Press has put together a list of a number of Twin Cities restaurants that are offering free food for veterans and active-duty military on Veteran's Day. Here is the list: 

Applebee’s: 10th anniversary of offering free meals on Veterans Day. East metro locations include Apple Valley, Burnsville, Cottage Grove, Eagan, Forest Lake, Hastings, Inver Grove Heights, Lakeville, Oak Park Heights, Roseville, West St. Paul, White Bear Lake and Woodbury.

Bakers Square: Breakfast of pancakes, French toast or Belgian waffle. East metro locations include Apple Valley, Maplewood, Roseville, St. Paul (Highland), West St. Paul.

Buffalo Wild Wings: Small order of wings with fries. East metro locations include Snelling Avenue in St. Paul, Roseville, Maplewood, Oakdale, Eagan, Oak Park Heights, Apple Valley and Hudson, Wis.

Cantina Laredo: Complimentary meal up to a $20 value. Mall of America.

Chevys Fresh Mex: Fresh Mex 3-item Combo. 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. Bloomington.

Famous Dave’s: Two-meat combo meal, dine-in only. East metro locations include Apple Valley, Forest Lake, Highland Park in St. Paul, Roseville and Woodbury.

Hy-Vee supermarkets: Breakfast, 6 a.m. to 11 a.m. East metro stores in Cottage Grove, Eagan, Eagan and Lakeville.

Leo’s Grill & Malt Shop: Meals from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. Heated tents on the patio; more than 250 free meals expected to be served. 131 S. Main St., Stillwater.
