IRS LETTING FORTNITE GAMERS OFF THE HOOK
Late last year, the IRS published some rules that said Fortnite gamers would have to report their online currency -- V-Bucks -- at tax time. It looks like they backed off that rule and corrected things.
People still have to report online currency like Bitcoin because it can be exchanged for “real” currency.
