The Pantone 2024 Color Of The Year Is...

Pantone’s color of the year for 2024 has been unveiled. “Peach Fuzz” has been chosen by The Pantone Color Institute, which describes it as “A cozy peach hue softly nestled between pink and orange.”

According to the color company, Peach Fuzz is a color that’s “all-embracing spirit enriches mind, body, and soul,” and “highlights our desire for togetherness with others and the feeling of sanctuary this creates” in troubled times. Pantone explains that the warm, peachy shade was chosen to “evoke a new modernity,” while “bringing a feeling of tenderness and communicating a message of caring and sharing, community and collaboration."

This is the 25th anniversary of Pantone’s Color of the Year, which began in 1999 when they selected Cerulean Blue as the first one. Every year since, a group of the institute’s members from a range of industries consider trends from fashion runways, interior design and pop culture to help decide on the shade that will represent the year ahead.
