This morning a large sinkhole opened up under the National Corvette Museum in Bowling Green, KY taking 8 special Corvette models with it.
According to the museum's website, the local fire department estimates the hole to be 40 feet wide and 25-30 feet deep.
The good news - it happened early this morning and nobody was in or near the museum at the time of the collapse.
Apparently the museum, located next to the Corvette factory is still open for business while a structural engineer inspects the facility.
I hope they don't condemn the building. I'm still hoping to make it down there one of these days!
