Officials responded to a detonation on a front porch in Utah after children in the area found two homemade explosive devices they thought were Pokemon balls. They found the devices near the house.
According to KSL:
The children showed the devices to their parents who didn't know what they were either. The kids left the devices on the front porch and went inside when one of the devices suddenly exploded.
The detonation caused little damage to the home but could have caused significant damage to a human.
The Davis County Bomb Squad secured the area and placed the neighborhood on shelter-in-place protocol. The squad did a safety sweep of the area but did not find any other explosive devices.
