Pabst Blue Ribbon Is Selling Whiskey That Has Aged Five Seconds

As a whiskey drinker, I don't know how I feel about this.

According to Mibiz, Pabst Blue Ribbon is going to start selling Pabst Blue Ribbon Whiskey that has been aged for five seconds. I'm no whiskey guru (except that I drink a lot of it), but I would think that in order for whiskey to actually have a smooth taste, it would have a longer aging process than five seconds, like a lot longer... like years! Apparently, there is some law where whiskey has to be aged, but there is no requirement for how long. Pabst Blue Ribbon must think they can get around this law using their own five second rule.

Details about this new whiskey are still up in the air, but one thing the label did confirm is that this quick aging process isn't affecting how strong it will be - 80 Proof! Check it out below:

There's no word yet when this whiskey will be available, you'd think soon... five seconds to age, two to bottle, slap the label on, and wha-bam!

Am I nervous it's not going to taste as good as my favorite, Gentleman Jack? Maybe. Is that going to stop me from trying it? Absolutely not.
