The regular baseball season was supposed to start next week. While COVID-19 aka the CoronaVirus has postponed the season, and the updated recommendations from the CDC, the opening of the 2020 regular season will be pushed back further to mid-May at the earliest. Here are some ways to get your baseball fix!
One of the ways is by watching old games on Youtube. If you're a Twins fan, you can relive all 307 home runs from last season HERE. But if you were to ask me, a Cubs fan, I'm watching this game over and over again when they won the World Series!
Another way to get your baseball fix, PBS is streaming Ken Burns' documentary Baseball for FREE! The documentary is 9 episodes or 9 innings just like baseball and the run time is 18 years so you'll be able to pass a lot of the time learning about the game of baseball from its origins in 1840s and covers everything from from about 1970 to 1993. If you want to stream the documentary for FREE below.
If you own a Playstation 4 and you're a baseball fan, the new MLB The Show 20 is out and you can have fun beaming Astros players as retaliation for cheating and banging on trash cans. Or, you can create your own player and in Road To The Show and try to make it to the big leagues.
If you're looking for something live and more pick up style, Trevor Bauer on Saturday night had a pick up wiffle ball game with Major and Minor League Baseball Players. You can watch the full hour long game below.
