MLB Proposes Three Divisions With 10-Teams For The 2020 Season

With more and more reports coming out that baseball may return by late June, the MLB has a plan in place and honestly, I'm excited about it!

MLB is considering having a three divisions with 10 teams and get rid of the traditional National and American League, according to CBS Sports. I think this plan is really awesome as you get some great teams in your division and makes you stay on your A game. The divisions would keep many of the natural rivals together, while playing one another before an expanded playoff format.

Now what do these divisions look like? Here ya go!

East Division: New York Mets, New York Yankees, Boston Red Sox, Baltimore Orioles, Washington Nationals, Philadelphia Phillies, Pittsburgh Pirates, Toronto Blue Jays, Tampa Bay Rays, and Miami Marlins.

Central Division: Chicago Cubs, Chicago White Sox, Minnesota Twins, Milwaukee Brewers, St. Louis Cardinals, Kansas City Royals, Cleveland Indians, Cincinnati Reds, Detroit Tigers, and Atlanta Braves.

West Division: Los Angeles Dodgers, Los Angeles Angels, San Francisco Giants, Houston (cheating) Astros, Texas Rangers, Seattle Mariners, Arizona Diamondbacks, Oakland Athletics, Colorado Rockies, and San Diego Padres.

As of now though, MLB is throwing around a lot of ideas for the 2020 season (if there is one) but they aren't even close to finalizing any plans to begin the 2020 season.
