This is an incredibly touching video. Watch as Dexter the Boxer guides his friend Ginger down the steps and stays with her until she makes it safely down. He stops at each step and gives her encouragement to go to the next step. I'm not sure how he does it but clearly dogs have a language all their own. They also seem to understand when another dog is in trouble.
Our old dog Jessie was very good with the "Come" command. Once when she stayed with an older dog that was not good with that command, she basically taught it to her.
