"Don’t Weigh Me" Cards Are Going Viral

Last month, a woman went viral when she posted that her doctor's office is now offering "Don't Weigh Me" cards. You can see a picture of the card below.

According to Today:

The woman who had an eating disorder, said that she found being routinely weighed at the doctor’s office had always caused her unnecessary stress, so she was ecstatic to see these cards available at the office.
They say even if you don’t have an eating disorder, the thought of being weighed at the doctor’s office can cause people anxiety and they say in many cases, that leads to a feeling that doctors blame a lotof health problems on weight — and frequently prescribe weight loss as the ultimate blanket solution.
Ultimately, "that anxiety is what maybe drives people to avoid health care altogether.”

I think it's an interesting idea, but I also wonder if it's a GOOD idea. What do YOU think?
