You see them every year pop up around Halloween time and you’re like oh that used to be a Toys R Us, or that used to be such and such store. Well, now those infamous Spirit Halloween stores are getting a movie!
According to Variety, the movie will be a family/kids adventure movie and stars Christopher Lloyd! The synopsis of the movie is a new Spirit Halloween store appears in a deserted strip mall, three middle-school friends who think they’ve outgrown trick-or-treating make a dare to spend the night locked inside the store Halloween night. But they soon find out that the store is haunted by an angry evil spirit who has possessed the creepy animatronic characters. The kids embark on a thrilling and spooky adventure in order to survive the night and avoid becoming possessed themselves. Sounds like an interesting movie! The production company wants to release the movie around October of this year.
