It's a staple in Northeast Minneapolis, and it's one of the things you see it as you drive by! Well, Betty Danger's is closing down on August 27th.
The beloved Betty Danger’s Country Club in Northeast Minneapolis is for sale again! It's being listed on the market for $4.2 million. According to Kare 11, the property was renovated in 2014, is being sold “as is,” says the owner Leslie Bock. However, Bock said she is not selling the business itself, but is selling the location of which includes the restaurant and bar, a single-family house, a mini-golf course that meanders inside and outside, a Caddie Shack, and the iconic Ferris wheel. All three can be purchased separately or together. So yes, you can buy the Ferris wheel by itself if you want to!
The reason for selling the location, Bock said, "I want to retire at some point. It's getting to be too much... [Being an owner] is not the life I want anymore."
