I can smell it now, the pronto pups, the cheese curds, the corn roast. The State Fair will be here before we know it and today the list has finally been revealed! The Minnesota State Fair released the list and photos of the new State Fair Foods for this year! While looking through the list I found 4 that caught my eye as a must try! Here they are:
First is the Buzz’n … Hot Honey Chicken Sausage Kebob from Sausage Sister and Me. It is Hot honey drizzled over chicken sausage skewered with cornmeal biscuit chunks and served on a bed of coleslaw.
Second is Minne Hot Hot from RC's BBQ which is Smoked Rib Tips tossed in Nashville Hot Sauce, served with Comeback Sauce.
Third food that is a must try is the New Mexico Chile Dog Sliders Two Ways from the Blue Moon Dine-In Theater which is Green chile and red chile – made with roasted-on-site New Mexico Hatch chiles and a hint of chorizo pork, topped with queso-style cheese and red onion, served over all-beef hot dogs on slider buns. Comes with a prickly pear cactus slushie shooter on the side.
And last but not least are the Reuben Rolls from O'Gara's! Corned beef, Swiss cheese and sauerkraut hand-rolled in an egg roll wrapper, deep-fried and served with a side of O’Gara’s homemade Thousand Island dressing.
