All-Female Flyover ... During the Super Bowl -- as well as other big sporting events -- it's a tradition for Navy jets to fly over the stadium just as the National Anthem is ending. On Sunday, for the first time in Super Bowl history, the flyover will be piloted by an all-female team. The four female pilots roaring through the sky will be honoring 50 years of women flying in the U.S. Navy, while more than 100 million people around the world look on.

Wingin’ it … Americans will eat 1.45 billion wings for the Super Bowl this year, according to the National Chicken Council. That’s enough to give four wings to every person in the United States. Consider this … Phoenix’s State Farm Stadium (home of this year’s Super Bowl) can hold 73,000 people. If 1.45 billion chicken wings were distributed to the full stadium, each fan could have 19,863 wings.
Super Bowl snacking … Snack sales soar the week of the Super Bowl as we all make sure we have plenty of chips, pretzels, and more on hand. According to data from SNAC International, snack food sales jumped 10.5% to $616 million this week, which makes sense ... since Americans will eat 112 million pounds of snacks on Super Bowl Sunday. Here are the snacks seeing the biggest jump this week:
- Tortilla Chips: 22%
- Potato Chips: 10.1%
- Pretzels: 6.8%
- Cheese Snacks 6.7%
- Refrigerated Dips: 32.6%
Super day of eating … Super Bowl Sunday is a HUGE day for eating. How huge? It’s considered the second biggest food day in the U.S. after Thanksgiving. But just how much do we actually consume during the game? There have been multiple studies over the past few years about the average calorie intake, with the results varying from just 2,400 to 6,000 to 8,000 to 11,000! The USDA recommends the average person has just 2,000 calories a day.
According to a new survey, 61% of Americans will watch the Super Bowl. Of those tuning in, 75% will watch at home, 20% at someone else’s home and 5% at a bar or restaurant.
Prop Bets:
1. The length of the national anthem. Will it be over two minutes and five seconds, or under? OVER is the safer bet, at about 57%.
2. Length of the word "Brave" in the national anthem. Will it be over five seconds or under? OVER is about 67% likely.
2. Will there be a scoring drive that's shorter than the national anthem? The oddsmakers say YES. It's a little over 64% likely.
3. Will a player record an "octopus"? Do you even know what an octopus is? It's when the same player who scores a touchdown also scores the two-point conversion. Eight points. Get it? And the answer is NO. It's 93% likely that this WON'T happen.
4. Will both Jason and Travis Kelce score a touchdown? You can win BIG MONEY betting yes on this, because the chances are less than ONE PERCENT. Jason is the center for the Eagles, so he's not an eligible receiver. He'd basically have to pick up a fumble and run it into the end zone to score a TD.
5. What song will Rihanna sing first in her Halftime show? "Don't Stop the Music" has the best odds, at 25%.
6. What color eye shadow will Rihanna wear? The odds say Clear or None . . . 71%.
7. What will Eagles QB Jalen Hurts throw first: A touchdown or an interception? If you're a Philly fan, good news: it's 73% likely to be a TD.
