Vikings Officially Release Adam Thielen...

It's official, Adam Thielen's time with the Vikings is coming to an end. The team is releasing the two-time Pro Bowl receiver, and many of us are devastated. The Vikings tried to restructure his contract to keep him, but unfortunately, it didn't work out. With a $19.97 million cap hit, it's understandable that the team couldn't afford to keep him.

Let's not forget all the amazing things Thielen has done for the Vikings over the past 10 seasons. He's been a total legend on the field, a selfless teammate, and a role model in the community. We'll never forget the impact he's had on the Vikings organization and state of Minnesota!

Thielen's story is one for the ages. He went undrafted out of Minnesota State in 2013 and attended a rookie tryout with his hometown team, eventually signed to the practice squad, and then worked his way up to become one of the best players in the franchise's history. He put up back-to-back Pro Bowl seasons and surpassed the 1,200-yard mark in 2017 and 2018.

Even though his play has declined a bit in recent years due to injuries, he'll always be a fan favorite. I'm sad to see him go, but we all know he'll land on his feet. Plus, with K.J. Osborn ready to step up and Justin Jefferson already dominating, the Vikings will continue to crush it. SKOL!
