I have somehow gotten by in life with a rather rushed looking wrap job on most gifts. Sadly, I have to rely on my wife for wrapping most things. But for her gifts, I obviously can't do that.
Sometimes I have way too much paper that I end up trimming. But I have used the extra piece of paper on the back before. And as Lindsay says in the video, it doesn't look good.
Basically you just turn the gift diagonally within the paper that you have. This hack could also work if you are running out of paper or don't want to start a new roll!
