In case you missed the Apple Event yesterday, they unveiled iPhone 8 AND iPhone X. The iPhone X ditches the iconic home button and the TouchID fingerprint sensor in favor of a new system called FaceID.
According to Business Insider:

However, during the on-stage demo, an Apple senior vice president, Craig Federighi, couldn't get FaceID to work, which then forced him to log in with a passcode instead.
