The Office might return to TV sooner than expected! The series is likely to get a revival for the 2018-2019 season, TVLine reports.
According to the website, NBC is ready for the show to come back and has a lot planned. The new season will take place at Dunder Mifflin's Scranton, PA and feature a mix of old and new characters.
Unfortunately, Micahel Scott won't be one of them. The network is currently searching for a new star to play the boss.
The Office revival has been a longtime wish for NBC. Chairman Bob Greenblatt told Deadline back in August the comedy was one of the series he wanted to relaunch.
“We often talk about The Office,” Greenblatt revealed. “I’ve talked to Greg [Daniels, creator] four times over the past few years. It’s always, ‘maybe some day but not now.’ There is certainly an open invitation but we don’t have anything happening right now. If he wants to do it, I would do it.”
One word: YES!!!!
