I dare you to come up with better casting than this:
TOM HANKS will play MR. ROGERS in a movie called "You Are My Friend".
The script is based on a profile written about Mr. Rogers for "Esquire" 20 years ago by a guy named Tom Junod . . . a cynical journalist who didn't really want to take the assignment, but whose life was transformed by the end of it.
The REAL Fred Rogers died in 2003, at the age of 74.
