Scotty McCreery is doing something different for his current single, "Five More Minutes."
According to The Tennessean:
McCreery is teaming with Cracker Barrel Old Country Stores for a “Five More Minutes” video contest. Fans can submit up to a three-minute clip of them reuniting with the people in their lives with whom they hoped to spend five more minutes. The entries can include family, friends and loved ones returning from military service. A portion of the submitted footage will be chosen for a new video for "Five More Minutes" that will premiere March 15 on Cracker Barrel’s YouTube channel.
“The video should be pretty neat,” McCreery said. “I wrote this song for me about my Granddaddy but to see the life this song has taken on on its own and how it’s helped people through times when they are away from their families, it’s pretty awesome.”
Fans can upload their videos for consideration at crackerbarrel.com/FiveMoreMinutes between Feb. 19 and March 4.
