Not Taking Vacation Days? We're Giving Up $561 A Year!

WE'RE DOING A BETTER JOB OF TAKING VACATIONS

According to a new survey, American workers took an average 17.2 days of vacation in 2017, which is the highest it's been in four years and a half-day higher than it was in 2016.

But, the survey also found that 52 percent of employees still ended the year with unused vacation days, losing 212 million paid vacation days worth $62.2 billion. That means the average employee pretty much donated an average of $561 to his or her employer in 2017. (Moneyish)
