Garth Brooks and Trisha Yearwood have extended their family ... by four paws! The country stars have shared that they adopted a new dog, and she is adorable!
On her Instagram, Yearwood shared some pictures of their new pup, Millie, and it will give you all of the feels. In one photo, Trisha is cradling the dog in her harms, while in another the canine cutie is running happily through the lawn (tongue out and all). And in the last picture, Millie is cuddled up in her new doggie bed next to her new doggie sibling Emmy (the country couple's other dog).
Millie is a rescue, and along with the photos, Trisha explained the importance of adopting and animal rescue. In fact, she explains that Millie was the only dog to be adopted from Maury County Animal Services in Tennessee on the Saturday after Thanksgiving. She wrote:
"Introducing Millie, our new rescue! (Emmy's still not quite sure what happened 🐶 🐶) In the spirit of #GivingTuesday let’s bring awareness to the importance of #petadoption & #animalrescue. Millie was the ONLY dog adopted Saturday from #MauryCountyAnimalServices. You can save a life, have a new best friend and give a homeless pet a forever home at the same time. Who knows, you might even adopt one of Millie’s siblings! xoxo #AdoptDontShop"
New puppy aside, it's an exciting time in the Brooks/Yearwood household. Garth recently released his Anthology Part III: Live project, which includes live versions (50 live recordings!) of some of his biggest hits and a book filled with exclusive photos and stories from throughout his touring career.
Brooks also recently released a new song called "Stronger Than Me," and performed it live at this year's CMAs, tearfully dedicating to his wife.
Meanwhile, Yearwood is currently preparing to release a Frank Sinatra tribute album called Let's Be Frank. Additionally, her Triasha's Kitchen signature "Christmas In A Cup" cocktail, a collab with Williams Sonoma, has returned just in time for the holidays.
All in in all, Garth and Trisha continue to be couples goals. And now they have a new cute pup.
