It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas… according to Thomas Rhett.
The country singer revealed on Friday (September 27) that he's in the studio recording holiday music. The "Remember You Young" singer posted a photo wearing a festive hat and cradling a holiday doll while he wore a more autumn appropriate outfit consisting of a camo jacket and tan cords. “Cooking up some Christmas jams... yes I know it’s September,” he joked in the caption.
He also posted to his Instagram Story and gave fans a little more information on what was going on. “Today we're in the studio and we hung up Christmas lights everywhere because I'm recording my first couple Christmas songs ever as an artist,” he said. “Christmas music coming, I know it's Halloween but we're already getting in the spirit!”
He also revealed he's planning on recording two songs and one will be an original Christmas song while the other will be a classic!
It should come as no surprise that TR is already getting into the holiday spirit since it's what he does at home with his wife Lauren and their two daughters (soon to be three).
In a recent interview with Country Living, Lauren explained that the family starts preparing early for holidays and even started decorating for Halloween in August! “He enjoys it probably as much as we do,” she said about seasonal activities. “It’s a change of pace from the stage life and doing the shows, and he turns into a little kid all over again. It’s sweet to watch.”
