It was a sad day when Popeyes announced they wouldn't be selling their amazing chicken sandwich. However, Popeyes did say that it would be returning, and I'm not talking about the whole BYOB (Bring Your Own Bun) thing they had going on.
According to Delish, Guillermo Perales who is the CEO of Sun Holdings who owns 149 Popeyes locations told Bloomberg that the sandwich would be back in November! Could you imagine a Thanksgiving that has no turkey but you can eat all the Popeyes chicken sandwiches? That's a Thanksgiving I want! Popeyes did say they aren't ready yet to announce the date and send the world into utter chaos, but they said they would announce the date on their app. So for now, we just play the waiting game!
