On April 23, 2005 the very first YouTube video was uploaded. It was one of the founders standing in front of some elephants while talking about them.
That video has amassed over 162 million views in the last 16 years.
I have uploaded many videos to YouTube but none of them have gotten that many views. Part of the reason is that I've locked down the privacy settings on my channel - which really isn't much of a channel at all.
Currently, the video with the most views at over 8 billion is the Baby Shark Dance. It was uploaded less than 5 years ago. And because you haven't hear it in a while, now's the time to reacquaint yourself with the song!
