Recently a producer at a local television station unearthed some rare footage of Prince giving a television news interview when he was just 11 years old.
The footage is from an old film reel, which they apparently still have in the archives, as the station was working on a story about a recent Minneapolis Teachers Union Strike. This film dates back to 1970 when the union went on strike.
Since they didn't name him in the story and he didn't identify himself in the story, they decided to get confirmation. First with an image expert, who also pointed out that the junior high in the background is the school he would have attended. Second with a longtime friend of Prince.
It is obviously Prince and he even has a headband on as he wore on state many times during his musical career.
