Last Friday (Dec. 10th) country star, Ryan Kinder was nervously watching the projected storms closely. It's something that he takes very seriously.

On April 27th, 2011, Ryan and his wife Heather were students at the University of Alabama when an EF4 tornado ripped through Tuscaloosa, devastating the town and claiming the lives of 64 people, including 6 of Kinder's fellow classmates.

As tragedy struck for the people of Kentucky, Ryan knew he had to do something.

Utilizing his charity, 'Kinder's Kids Foundation,' Ryan joined Cody Alan via Zoom to explain how organizations and people can help Kentuckians as recovery efforts continue for the Western Kentucky tornado and storm victims. Watch the video below.

During their interview, Ryan reveals his goal of raising four thousand dollars to assist those affected with everything from basic necessities to Christmas toys.

Ryan's efforts have paid off.

'Kinder's Kids Foundation' has now raised over twelve thousand dollars in donations that will be supplied to the people of Kentucky this weekend. But, there is still time to donate.
