Goldfish Crackers Recalled Due To Salmonella Risk

Four varieties of Goldfish crackers are being pulled from shelves after the company was notified by one of their ingredient suppliers that the whey powder used to make the seasoning in their products might have been contaminated with Salmonella.

Pepperidge Farm said in a press release that the crackers were distributed all across the nation and that no illnesses have been reported in connection to the crackers being recalled.

The crackers being recalled are:

  • Flavor Blasted Xtra Cheddar

  • Flavor Blasted Sour Cream & Onion

  • Goldfish Baked with Whole Grain Xtra Cheddar

  • Goldfish Mix Xtra Cheddar + Pretzel

For the exact UPC codes of affected snacks, the company encourages consumers to visit www.PepperidgeFarm.com/GoldfishUpdate or call the customer service line 800-679-1791.
