"Kinfolks" singer Sam Hunt has been arrested and released after being charged with DUI and open container in Nashville on Thursday morning.
According to the city's Fox affiliate, Sam was driving south in a northbound lane when a BOLO (be on the lookout) call came in. Police report that Sam showed visible signs of consuming alcohol, and when asked for his identification, produced a passport and credit card, although his driver's license was in his lap.
He did admit that he had been drinking "recently," and consented to a field sobriety test, where he blew a .173 -- more than twice the legal limit.
Sam was booked at 6 a.m. at Metro Jail and released on bond by 9 a.m.
