More and more stories have been coming out about the allegedly toxic work environment behind-the-scenes of “The Ellen DeGeneres Show.” Multiple former and current members of Ellen’s staff have come forward about the issue they say is on the execs… and now the rumors have launched a full-on investigation.
According to “Variety,” the NBC talk show that’s always told viewers to “be kind” is the subject of an internal probe by Warner Media. There have been multiple accounts of workplace misconduct on the long-running daytime show, including racist behavior and bullying.
Execs sent a memo out to staff last week about the investigation, which will involve WarnerMedia’s employee relations group and a third party firm. They’ll be conducting interviews with current and former staffers about their experiences on set.
