Younger People Don't Trust Anyone Who Uses A Period When Texting

If you've noticed people have stopped using periods in their texts, there's a reason!

New research has found that younger generations actually freak out when someone uses a period in their text instead of an exclamation mark or other form of punctuation.

Both Gen Z and millennials agree that ending a sentence with a period is overly hostile and, worse yet, extremely uncool.

In the 2015 study of 126 undergraduates, researchers at Binghamton University found that texts containing periods were also perceived as insincere.

However, the period’s new, aggressive interpretation can also be used purposefully, for comedic effect!
