Lee Brice Has COVID-19, and Will Not Perform at the CMAs

2020 Gershwin Prize Award Tribute Concert

LEE BRICE has tested positive for COVID-19 and will NOT perform at Wednesday's CMAs. Thankfully, he's "in good spirits and not experiencing any symptoms." He's at home isolating until he's cleared by a doctor.

His rep issued a statement, saying, quote, "Lee would like to thank the CMAs and all of his incredible fans for his nominations and is wishing his fellow nominees an incredible evening celebrating the best of country music."

Lee was tested and received his result BEFORE arriving on-site for rehearsals. That's important because the CMAs are not doing the virtual thing.

He and Carly Pearce were going to perform their duet, "I Hope You're Happy Now", which is up for Musical Event of the Year and Music Video of the Year. There's no word if she'll be doing the song without him.
