Pharmaceutical company Moderna shared big news this morning about its vaccine trial.
In another potential breakthrough in the fight against COVID-19, a vaccine being developed by the company showed a 94.5 percent effectiveness in its latest trial involving 30,000 participants and could be rolled out as early as next month if the FDA approves it.
The hopeful news comes a week after the announcement from Pfizer that its vaccine has a 90 percent efficacy. Experts, including Dr. Anthony Fauci, expect vaccines to be available for people in high-risk categories as early as late December.
