Meghan Markle Reveals She Had A Miscarriage

Chrissy Teigen isn't the only public figure who's come forward to discuss the pain of a miscarriage lately -- so has Meghan Markle.

The Duchess of Sussex writes in the New York Times that she lost her second pregnancy in July. She says she was changing son Archie's diaper when she felt a sharp cramp. "I dropped to the floor with him in my arms, humming a lullaby to keep us both calm, the cheerful tune a stark contrast to my sense that something was not right. I knew, as I clutched my firstborn child, that I was losing my second."

She adds that she wrote the piece for the Times to help other women open up about miscarriage. "Losing a child means carrying an almost unbearable grief, experienced by many but talked about by few."
