Research Finds People Are Kinder Than You Think

People are kinder than you think.

With all the negativity out there, sometimes it’s tough to remember that most people are more good than bad – by a long shot. In fact, researchers at UCLA, along with a team of international scientists, found that people help each other every couple of minutes.

Specifically, they found that people ask for help in some way – something as simple as asking directions or asking someone to pass them something -- roughly once every couple of minutes. And the vast majority of people answer these calls for help. And on the rare occasions that people don’t help – they provide a reason why.
