Blake Shelton Has Bought His Way Into A Mark Wahlberg Movie

Blake Shelton is set to appear in an upcoming Mark Wahlberg film. Which film, we don't know - but we do know how he got the part: he paid $40-thousand.

Friday Blake was honored at the Keep Memory Alive 27th Annual Power of Love Gala in Las Vegas for his charity work, and the evening included a live auction that caught Blake's eye. The country superstar bid on, and won, a walk-on role for a future Mark Wahlberg movie. From the stage, Blake "announced" his retirement from country music. "I don’t know if you guys saw the auction earlier. This is maybe the last time I’m ever gonna perform country music," he joked while taking the stage to play a few songs for the crowd. "I’m a movie star now. I’m not f***ing around."

For the record, Blake already has several film credits, including "The Angry Birds Movie," "The Ridiculous 6," and "Pitch Perfect 2."
