Morgan Wallen Cancelled His Tampa Show, but Jelly Roll Saved the Day

Morgan Wallen canceled his concert a couple hours before it was set to start on Friday night in Tampa. And a lot of people were pretty angry about it.

Morgan said that he powered through the previous night's show and woke up feeling, quote, "way worse." Keep in mind this is not the first time this happened. Last year at Ole Miss he cancelled his show AFTER the opening acts had already played.

It stinks as a fan. If you bought tickets and possible flights and hotel rooms. But you can't help when you get sick, so hope he feels better.

Jelly Roll did his best to save the day. Since he was opening for Morgan, Jelly offered up a FREE show for anyone with tickets to the cancelled show. It was at a smaller venue, but he did the best he could do.

And when he got onstage, Jelly defended Morgan. He said, "My friend is sick as [crap], y'all. I told him don't do the show LAST night. I told him. I'm glad he took the day to rest his body."

Morgan didn't just cancel the Tampa show, he also canceled next week's shows in Charlotte. He re-scheduled the Tampa show for October 4th and the Charlotte shows to October 18th and 19th.
