Being a country artist can look like fun and games, but a lot more is expected of emerging artists in these days of social media and streaming, and Nate Smith is beyond exasperated.
Nate, whose first two singles, "Whiskey On You" and "World On Fire," were number-one singles took to Instagram to explain that chart toppers aren't enough. He listed some of the things that are stressors for aspiring stars and said, "It shouldn't be about any of this. It should be about the music and only the music..." He also said, "I am absolutely exhausted trying to be cool."
The heartwarming support Nate received from his peers, including Bailey Zimmerman, Carly Pearce and Hardy was touching with most of them commiserating with the singer.
