Yesterday it was announced that more than 2 million pounds of poultry had been recalled.
According to KSTP:
Simmons Prepared Foods has recalled more than 2 million pounds of poultry products due to possible contamination of foreign materials, according to the U.S. Department of Agriculture Food Safety and Inspection Service.
The items subject to the recall were produced between Oct. 21 and Nov. 4. The products have the establishment number "P-1949," "P- 486" or "P-5837" inside the USDA mark of inspection. See all of the products subject to the recall here.
The products were distributed in Minnesota, as well as Alabama, Arkansas, California, Georgia, Oklahoma and Pennsylvania.
