Yesterday, the Vikings announced they were releasing Tight End Kyle Rudolph.
There had been speculation for some time about if Kyle would continue his career with the Vikings, who he has been with since he was drafted in 2011. After it was announced that Kyle was leaving the team, Kyle wrote a thank you letter to Vikings fans that was published in the Players Tribune. In it, he calls Vikings fans, "the smartest, most passionate fans" and says that after his career is over, he will return to Minnesota.
