A Minnesota woman posted a warning on social media after she had a strange encounter at a gas station.
Her post said the following:
***WARNING***
I was at the Kwik Trip in Anoka off 7th today getting gas and was in the process of getting the pump in my truck when a woman in a blue Buick came over to me asking for help. I of course was like "sure what can I help you with," as I was finishing putting the pump in my tank. She said "I ran out of gas, can you come over here and help me?" To me that was very suspicious as we are at a gas station and she was parked at the pump....I stayed right where I was and told her to go inside and ask for help from a clerk. She looked uncomfortable at that point and said "I don't think they can help me." I looked over at her car and saw the windows were tinted very dark and saw another figure in the car. I repeated again to her that if she is having problems pumping gas that she needs to go inside and get help. The woman looked very disgruntled at that point as I was very stern with her and she turned away saying "why do you have to be such a f***ing bitch." At that point I put the pump back in the holder and left as I had my baby in the truck with me and was NOT going to stick around to find out what they were really after. I tried to get a picture of the license plate but couldn't get out of there fast enough so didn't get a good picture. I did call the Kwick Trip and talked to a man and explained my experience. He thanked me for calling it in and said he would go out and do a sweep and look at the cameras to make sure it gets checked out.
I want to share my experience to hopefully get word out that this is something happening very close to home. I just want to remind everyone to be aware of your surroundings! Such a sad and scary world we live in right now.
She later posted an edit saying:
*EDIT* The Anoka police were notified and a report was made. Both the police department and Kwik Trip have been very helpful and on top of this!
Although it's not clear what the goal was here, it still sets off some red flags. We wanted to share because we feel it's something Minnesotans should be aware of.
