At times, buying tickets for concerts can be frustrating and expensive. If you want the best seat close to the stage, you could be paying a lot of money. If you're someone that goes to the bathroom a lot during a concert or heads to the concession stand a lot, this might benefit you. It turns out we could be paying extra for aisle seats at future concerts.
According to Billboard, Live Nation recently started selling aisle seats at select shows with a surcharge that adds an additional $5 to $30 to your ticket price. The surcharge price for the aisle seats are for those who are "looking to enjoy the convenience of easy access to refreshments, restrooms, and venue exits."
This next part is even better! It's not ONLY the actual seat on the aisle, in some cases it's also the second, third and fourth seats into the row. For now, the price hike of having an aisle seat must be approved by both the artist and promoter.
Now, I am always happy when I see that I have an aisle seat but paying extra for it...no thanks!
