We've all done it while driving. One minute you're cruising down the road, the next minute, a squirrel or fluffy little animal darts out in front of it. You slam on the breaks or swerve at the last second to avoid it, and you think to yourself, "I hope I didn't hit it." For new drivers, the first time this happens, it almost gives you a damn heart attack!
16-year-old Haylee Lowery of Clarkesville, TN was driving herself and her family home from basketball practice one night, according to Thrillist. And wouldn't you know it, a raccoon darted out into the road and she swerved at the last minute and thought she hit it. Turns out she didn't hit it at all, this little guy must have hung onto the car and decided to go for a joyride. It actually crawled onto the hood of the car and onto the windshield while she was driving! Don't worry, Haylee slowed down and pulled over to the side of the road and it jumped off.
