Jason Aldean has heard all about the death of albums, and he doesn't like the sound of it. I mean look at Garth Brooks, he doesn't release singles he releases albums which I think is a great plan! Anywho, Jason Aldean says that he plans to keep making albums as long as people are buying them. If they do stop, that's when he'll re-evaluate.
His love of albums started when he was a kid. He told ABC News, "I couldn't wait to go every Tuesday to the record store when they came out and buy whatever was out and go home and look at the liner notes and read everything and see who wrote what."
There's also another reason why Jason is holding on to making albums is because he loves the process. Saying, "I enjoy making albums, and getting in the studio, getting in a groove, when you're in there cutting eight songs in two days. And you get locked-in. And I don't know how you do that [if] go in every few months and cut one song. That sounds like it sucks to me. That's not the way I want to make music. It's not why I got into it. My plan is to make albums as long as people want to hear 'em."
As long as we keep buying albums, he's going to keep making them.
