If you're wondering, no this isn't going to be an hour long episode of Mr. Rogers. This Mr. Rogers movie is based on real events that took place when Esquire writer Tom Junod interviewed Rogers for a 1998 piece, according to Elite Daily The trailer starts with a recreation of the Mister Rogers' Neighborhood theme song, and then the rest of the trailer primarily takes place in the late 1990s when a journalist is profiling Mr. Rogers and the piece is on heroes. After watching the trailer, I have a feeling this movie will try to dig below the surface of Mr. Rogers. This movie is going to send a lot of us straight back to our childhood! 'A Beautiful Day In The Neighborhood,' will hit theaters on Thanksgiving, check out the trailer below.
