I honestly don't know how I feel about this. I love hot dogs, there's nothing like a hot dog on a nice summer day, or while you're at a ball game. But, on the other hand I love ice cream sandwiches and I have never thought about putting them together. I mean I occasionally dip my fries in a chocolate shake, but that's because everyone know it taste phenomenal!
So a couple of days ago French's (the mustard company) announced they are releasing a mustard ice cream! Oscar Mayer I guess decided that they were going to get in on the ice cream game as well, according to Mashable. They just announced that they're going to be selling ice cream sandwiches. These are no ordinary ice cream sandwiches! They are hot dog-infused ice cream with bits of candied hot dogs in it, the ice cream part is a spicy mustard ice cream, and the bun as they are calling it is made out of cookies. Oscar Mayer is calling them "Ice Dog Sandwiches" and are coming out later this month. I wonder if there will be a hot dog ice cream sandwich eating contest ever?
