After the big game it seems like football fans don't know what to do, what sport do we watch next? Turns out in exactly one month another league will make it's return... THE XFL! I remember watching the XFL when I was younger, and it was so great... but it didn't last long. It looks like the XFL released some rules yesterday that will differentiate it from the NFL.
The video below explains all the new rules in the XFL and the one I'm most excited for is the double forward pass! Another exciting rule about the XFL is the overtime rule. In the NFL's overtime, a single possession can win, or the game can end in a tie. In the XFL, according to the video below, it's a "shootout," where both teams get five one-play possessions to score from the five-yard line. Whichever team converts more wins. And if they tie, then they keep doing alternating attempts until one team converts more.
Watch the video below for more rules including an interesting rule for kickoffs that the NFL should adopt!
