For me Super Bowl parties are like my second Thanksgiving! Football is on for about 8 hours, and there's a ton of food and no judges you for eating so much! The key food items that need to be at a Super Bowl party is wings, buffalo chicken dip, and doritos! You have those three items, and I'm there!
According to Patch, a study found the most popular Super Bowl food in every state, based on Google searches and a survey of more than 1,200 people. You would think that wings would be the favorite in all 50 states... they're not! Somehow cocktail weenies won the most states, with 11 which include Minnesota and Wisconsin. That's funny because any Super Bowl party I have been to in Minnesota included pickle roll ups, and I would have assumed that Wisconsin would have some form of cheese dip!
It's mostly because all the different types of dips really split the vote: Seven layer dip won seven states, Buffalo chicken dip won six, blue cheese dip won three, beer cheese dip won two, and lobster dip and hot cheese dip both won one.
