This past week everyone has been honoring Kobe Bryant in their own way. Whether you go and put something at his memorial at the Staples Center, sharing photos of him, or shooting something into the trash and yelling, "KOBE"! Last night the Wild were playing in their first game back from the All-Star break. During warmups the Wild took the ice and it seemed like everyone had noticed that Matt Dumba was wearing his regular jersey, but it had a different nameplate. On the back of Dumba's jersey the nameplate read Bryant.
According to Sarah McLellan who covers the Wild for the Star Trib got a quote from Dumba about wearing a Bryant nameplate during warm-ups and in her tweet Dumba said, "It's just another way to pay homage to not only him but the other eight in the helicopter. It's just such a tragedy."
